    Chief Financial Officer

    Jonathan is an experienced strategic management controller with international experience working in New York, Hong Kong, Paris, Miami, London and Montreal. Having experienced the challenges of immigration first-hand, while in Canada he got interested in the immigration path of the various international business people he met. Seeing a real shortfall in the writing of business plans, he started writing business plans for business immigration applicants, mixing his management control experience to his newly found business immigration passion. He teamed up with Joorney Business Plans and launched the Canada division. Once established, he took over the role of General & Financial Director of the division until his promotion to Chief Financial Officer of Joorney Global in 2021.

    Director of Sales & Marketing

    Marianella brings over 18 years of international experience in business development and consultation in strategy, management, business planning, business intelligence, marketing, and sales to the Joorney family. Originally from Colombia, she has worked in an array of different industries in both Latin and North American markets. Joining the company in 2016 as VP of Sales and Market Research, Marianella helped initiate and launch the extraordinarily successful Joorney Canada office in 2017, where she later took on the role of Executive Director for the division. Now, as Director of Sales & Marketing for Joorney Global, she plans and directs all aspects of sales and marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives company-wide. She attributes her success to her lifetime involvement and accomplishments in sports, which have made her incredibly driven and focused on success through collaboration and teamwork. Marianella is a bilingual MBA graduate with postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School in strategy and sales as well as entrepreneurial essentials.

    Account Executive

    As Account Executive for the Canadian market, Uros brings his energy and passion to help business immigration applicants in their journey to Canada by providing the highest quality business plan on the market. Being detail oriented, our immigration professional clients and applicants love to interact with him as he always makes sure all their needs and requirements are being catered. Uros has graduated with a Bachelor of International Economy and Finance and gained more than five years of experience in different types of sales and consulting. He has gathered extensive knowledge in Canadian immigration and business start-up working with clients of different nationalities and cultures. He is passionate about meeting new entrepreneurs, their business ideas and models, immigration strategy, and always makes sure they get the best possible service.

    Head of Advisory

    Matt brings 9 years of investment banking advisory and transactions experience to the Advisory team. He has advised over 40 clients across different industries and geographies. Matt is fluent in development project pre-feasibility and the life-cycle of transactions ranging from $10MM to $250MM and having led such transactions from valuation and deal structuring to distribution, capital raising and negotiation for a variety of corporations at different stages of their development. He has worked with clients domiciled in many international locations including both North and South America, UK, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, among others, and interfacing with different cultures. Matt leads a team of 9 Analysts in the Advisory Division.

    Ana is an International Business graduate who has taken part in various entrepreneurship projects and start-up programs. She has also been an active participant in several humanitarian projects. In her role at Joorney, she deals with a broad scope of industries and innovative business ideas. Ana’s commitment to professional and personal development has led to her strong passion for processes and action plans, which serves her well in her current role. She enjoys multitasking, allowing her to truly thrive in this multinational environment. Ana is invigorated by new challenges – particularly those relating to the company’s expansion and client outreach.

    Dorothea became a member of the Joorney team in February 2017. With the help of a quantitative finance degree and a knack for problem solving, she has successfully guided clients through numerous projects, allowing them to turn their business ideas into tangible concepts, plans, or compelling pitch decks. Her main focus has been on exploring the intricacies of the provincial nominee programs.

Building on years of immigration business plan writing experience, she now uses her knowledge to support clients as Project Manager.

    Paul joined Joorney as the first salesperson in 2014 and got to work forging connections with our core client base – immigration attorneys and professionals – and building our sales team. As Director, he created a customer-centric culture which he lives, practices, and instills company-wide on a daily basis. Currently, as Chief Commercial Officer, Paul focuses on nurturing the relationship with Joorney’s partners and is also responsible for establishing, maintaining, and refining policies and procedures across departments to ensure every contact the customer has with the company, from marketing and sales to receiving their invoice and delivery of our product, is a positive and memorable one.

    Executive Manager of Administration

    Connie plans and directs all administrative and accounting functions at Joorney, including delivering human resource services to all colleagues and providing direct support to the CEO. She has consular office experience and an extensive background in managing business operations while building and implementing new processes. She applies this valuable skillset to crafting policies and procedures in order to streamline the HR, administrative, and executive functions among all of Joorney’s global offices. She also plays a vital role in hiring and project management. Connie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Florida International University and a master’s degree in International Business Real Estate.

    Tijana is a fully certified Chartered Financial Analyst with a master’s degree in investment management and quantitative finance from Cass Business School. Her background and experience have resulted in her being regarded as the resident financial expert at Joorney, where she supervises the operations team. Tijana also personally manages various projects, helping countless clients successfully embark on their business ventures in the Canadian market.
